Satan's working hard so long
Since my Savior's rescued me from sin
My battle's lost as time goes on
I wondered if I'd have the will to win
Oh but like all the Christians never stay in shape
I need minding what the Scriptures say

Cleave to Christ Who guides me

Yes, I may, His command, wrong

And I see that creatures groan
But what the future glory brings

twenty-eight through nine He's weaved a chain

come like Christ, He called me
He has justified me
Be glorified in Him
But first, foreknown, I skipped it
Just to give it's meaning
Before time God made Him-
self intimate with me
Knife and sword, and nakedness
No power whether height of it or its depth
Nor angels, nor death
No one will sever us from Him
Coz we're more than conquerors in here
