Church Seeker 2

The church's purpose was to show to the world the truth that true satisfaction is in God alone, and that it's a form of evangelism. But this blog was inspired with the increasing dismay I felt when I wrote Church Seeker 1. And this time I want to continue with my own statement that cries for reformation:

"May the Gospel's revelation be my heart's full application; My mind and soul's deep conviction point to Christ's whole resurrection"

=======================

Brothers, sisters, pastors, preachers
Other ambassadors of Christ who wear armors
Lovers, seekers of our Teacher
Where are the examples of Christ who bear scoffers
Doers, hearers, Master's reachers
Where are the disciples of Christ who share answers
Overseers, Father's creatures
Here are my desperate cries for reformers

I'm continually disturbed that my Christ cannot be heard
Especially in the church that's designed to preach the Word
To this sinful, fallen, world all His wise teachings we learned
We should be free from the curse, but our lives show we're detered
In God's glory we're the first to have sights of undeserved
Grace and mercy and then thirst because God gave us this urge
Fearing holiness will burn all my parts until they squirm
Indirectly to the church, I ask "Why act like the world?"

We have received His promises and then we grieve our sinfulness
Pushed to believe Christ's holiness, bringing the sheaves of thankfulness
But why do we leave His Son's commands, and then deceive ourselves like this
Please do not cleave to worldliness, we should conceive God's fruitfulness
They won't believe in us unless we ourselves live the truth He sends
So we will leave them all convinced God's plan achieved in us, my friends
Left to believe God's providence, may the LORD weave these days' events
Begging Him, "Please be our defense!" Don't want that we act like the rest

The church, as His wife, should be pure and holy
With truth, and His light, should act as one body
Rebukes all the lies, reducing all follies
Makes sure that its life produces Christ's story
Pursues and delights in, surely, God's glory
Allured by the sight; consumed by such beauty
Assured of the fight for the truth they hold dearly
Endures every slice to prove their faith boldly

Compared the congregation with our God's new creation
We are a contradiction. This leads me to depression
Before more complications will feed this situation
I pray, LORD, come to action: release regeneration
Maker of constellations, please be our satisfaction
Desiring conformation to be Christ's demonstration
Who wait for consummation for peace throughout the nation
And see His coronation, we - glorification

Holy Ghost, our God, the Ethereal
Overflow for our revival
Lord of Hosts, the Father eternal
May we know that your word is final
And we boast Your Son - Your external
Radiant glory, seen as a mortal
Here Your chosen pleads for renewal
Even if it means suicidal

After this poem, I realized that I am not alone. So hopefully, my next blog includes comfort that there are people around me who want reformation.
